DIABETIC EDUCATION

Our nurses at Blessed At Home are expert educators. We are happy to offer diabetic education in the homes of our wonderful clients. Our nurses teach from our diabetic education hand book "Living Well: A Diabetic Care Handbook™" Our method to teaching is comprehensive. We include diet, exercise , blood glucose monitoring, insulin injection, medication compliance and more. We want to assure safety and proper education for diabetic clients in the comfort of their home.
SOCIAL SERVICES

Our social services department is always working to give patients the best outcome. Understanding insurance and navigating the healthcare system can be difficult. This is why we have a licensed Master of Social Work on staff. We are able to assist our clients with any needs they may come across. We are happy that we are able to offer social services to enhance the well-being for all of our clients.
AIDE SERVICES

Homemaking and organization are two very important aspects of respectable care. Our aides are available to assist with homemaking, cooking, cleaning, laundry, running errands, personal care and anything else that may help improve quality of life. We have several home health aides on staff that love assiting patinets live a healthy and comfortable life-style in their own home.
LAB WORK
Accurate, Diagnostic, and In-Home
Blessed at Home nurses understand some disease processes and medications require routine blood draws. It is our goal to keep patients comfortable in their own home. This means we can do routine blood work in the home and take it to a lab to be analyzed for patients. No more leaving the home to have blood work. We can draw blood for any testing you may need including PT/INR collections for patients on Coumadin. Any time a doctor is requesting lab work we can collect the specimen in the comfort of the patient's home.
All Home Care services are available to our service coverage area. This includes Scioto, Lawrence, Pike, Jackson, Adams, and Gallia County.
